Cookies
Last changed on 2 November 2026. This page lists what this shop stores in your browser, by name, and how to stop what is not needed.
Needed for the shop to work
| Name | Kind | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| pc_warenkorb | Local storage | Your basket, so it is still there on your next page. It leaves your browser only when you go to pay. | Until you empty the basket |
| market | Cookie | Which country you shop from, so the right prices show. | One year |
| pc_besuch | Cookie | A random visitor number, so the free previews are counted per visitor. | 30 days |
Measurement and advertising
| Name | Set by | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga, _ga_ followed by this site's measurement id | Google Analytics | Which pages are opened and where visits come from. | Up to two years |
| _fbp, _fbc | Meta | Whether an advert led to a visit or a purchase. | Up to 90 days |
| kinderbuch.visit and keys starting with it | This shop, session storage | Where a visit started and how long it lasted, for our own measurement. | Until the tab is closed |
Google Analytics and Meta's pixel are loaded with the first page you open. Some of what Meta is told also goes to Meta from our own server, with Meta's identifiers and the kind of browser you used, so that an advert's result blocked in the browser is still counted once.
The payment pages
The payment pages are Shopify's and run on Shopify's address. Shopify sets the cookies it needs there to take the payment, and the store's own connection to Meta may report the checkout steps there.
How to say no
Turn on a Global Privacy Control signal in your browser (Firefox, Brave and DuckDuckGo can send it, and an extension can add it to others): then nothing is measured and nothing reaches Meta from this site. You can also delete these cookies and stored values in your browser's settings at any time; the shop then forgets your basket and your country.
